A milestone that fills us with pride: David is now an EFZ design engineer!

There are moments in everyday working life that give us pause - full of pride, gratitude and joy. Today is just such a moment.

David took his final written exams on June 6 and 11, 2025. He had already mastered the practical work with commitment and creativity at the beginning of the year. Last Friday, the time had finally come: David received his certificate of proficiency - he passed all his exams!

Congratulations, David! You can now officially call yourself an EFZ design engineer.

This success is not only a great milestone for you personally, but also for us as a team. It fills us with joy and pride to see how commitment, hard work and perseverance pay off. Your development over the last few years has been impressive and we are grateful to have accompanied you on this journey.

Another reason to be pleased is that our training quota is now 100 % - that's something you can say out loud!
But this is not the end of our journey together. We are delighted that David will continue to support us until the end of 2025. David's experience is a great support, especially at a time when Dominik is embarking on a well-deserved, longer journey and we will be welcoming our new design engineer apprentice Ömer Suv from August 1.

Welcome to the new chapter, David - as a fully-fledged designer in our team. And welcome, Ömer! We are very much looking forward to working with you.

It's great to see how learning becomes skill, apprenticeships become careers and young talents become valued colleagues. Thank you to everyone who has helped shape this path.

Growing together - that is our strength.

A milestone that fills us with pride: David is now an EFZ design engineer!

Packaging - As much as necessary,
as little as possible

BVS uses the NaturePak label for products that enable ecologically sound use, reduce CO2 emissions and generate less waste, regardless of the packaging material used.

Our strategy

  • Less packaging means less waste
  • Better protection through high quality
  • Packaging materials made from recycled raw materials or equivalent proportions
  • Economical packaging systems reduce material and energy consumption
  • Ecological customer solutions regardless of material
  • Objective information about different packaging materials

Packaging made from recycled paper

Paper pays off for people and the environment in the long term. It is even better to use paper with a high recycled content. Recycled paper optimizes water and energy consumption and thus protects the environment and climate by reducing waste. Recycled paper offers a wide range of added value for all users.

  • Protects the environment and reduces CO2 emissions
  • Saves energy and water
  • Less waste through optimal recycling

Plastic packaging with recycled content

Polyethylene films are increasingly being produced with a proportion of recycled material, which - as far as technically possible - is being continuously increased. They are the most modern and safest quality packaging for all branches of industry. Due to their low density and excellent physical and mechanical properties, PE films have major advantages over paper, cardboard, metal and glass.

  • Protects the environment and reduces CO2 emissions
  • Can be recycled again and again
  • Is a lightweight material with a high protective effect
  • Significantly reduces food waste when used in the food industry
  • Generates much less waste than glass, metal or paper
