Anyone can be a lifesaver!

Today we had the special opportunity to learn something vital - in the truest sense of the word. In our AED course (Automated External Defibrillator) not only taught us important first aid skills, but also boosted our confidence to act correctly in an emergency situation.

The focus of the course:
Alerting the rescue chain: How do I call for help quickly and effectively?
Use of the AED: Step-by-step instructions for using the defibrillator.
Recognizing a cardiovascular arrest: How do I recognize the signs of an emergency?
Cardiac massage: The right technique and why every second counts.

What remains is certainty: Anyone can be a lifesaver! With the right knowledge and a little training, we are better prepared to help someone in need - and perhaps even save lives.

A big thank you to the organizers and Patric Egger from reaplus for making the course so valuable.

Lifesavers in action - AED course for the BVS team in Urdorf

Packaging - As much as necessary,
as little as possible

BVS uses the NaturePak label for products that enable ecologically sound use, reduce CO2 emissions and generate less waste, regardless of the packaging material used.

Our strategy

  • Less packaging means less waste
  • Better protection through high quality
  • Packaging materials made from recycled raw materials or equivalent proportions
  • Economical packaging systems reduce material and energy consumption
  • Ecological customer solutions regardless of material
  • Objective information about different packaging materials

Packaging made from recycled paper

Paper pays off for people and the environment in the long term. It is even better to use paper with a high recycled content. Recycled paper optimizes water and energy consumption and thus protects the environment and climate by reducing waste. Recycled paper offers a wide range of added value for all users.

  • Protects the environment and reduces CO2 emissions
  • Saves energy and water
  • Less waste through optimal recycling

Plastic packaging with recycled content

Polyethylene films are increasingly being produced with a proportion of recycled material, which - as far as technically possible - is being continuously increased. They are the most modern and safest quality packaging for all branches of industry. Due to their low density and excellent physical and mechanical properties, PE films have major advantages over paper, cardboard, metal and glass.

  • Protects the environment and reduces CO2 emissions
  • Can be recycled again and again
  • Is a lightweight material with a high protective effect
  • Significantly reduces food waste when used in the food industry
  • Generates much less waste than glass, metal or paper
