Feeding system

Automated feeding systems for packaging & production - precise parts feeding for efficient processes

Our state-of-the-art parts feeding systems for small and medium-sized components are the ideal solution for smooth and automated packaging or production lines. Our systems combine integrated image recognition with state-of-the-art robotics and vibratory conveyor technology to accurately sort and feed parts. They can be seamlessly combined with pouch packaging machines such as the Autobag PS 125 OneStep or the Autobag AB 550 OneStep. This enables you to achieve an efficient cycle output including printing, packaging and separating in a single operation.

What is a feeding system?

Feeding systems are technical devices that transfer components or materials precisely, continuously and automatically to the respective work stations of a production line. Their main function is to separate, align, sort and provide individual parts in order to make the production process efficient.

Main tasks and objectives of feeding systems

  • Automated provision: The parts are provided in the specified sequence and with optimum alignment for further processing.
  • Reduction in manual intervention: Automated feeding reduces the need for human handling. This minimizes sources of error and increases process speed.
  • Quality control: incorrectly positioned or damaged components are detected and sorted out at an early stage to prevent production disruptions.
  • Increased efficiency: The optimized feed shortens cycle times and reduces operating costs.

Types of feeding systems

  • Vibratory bowl feeder: Conveys and sorts small fasteners such as nuts and bolts
  • Step conveyors: Gentle handling protects sensitive or coated parts
  • Centrifugal conveyors: Achieve high cycle rates for light or fragile components
  • Bulk material conveyors: Convey bulk materials such as granulates or powder

Areas of application

Parts feeding systems are indispensable in sectors such as the automotive industry, medical technology, electronics and aviation. They are also essential in the food and packaging industries to ensure consistently high quality and efficiency in production. In the packaging sector, feeding technology plays a central role in the automatic feeding of small parts such as screws, bags or other packaging components to packaging machines, for example to Bag packers.

Perfect integration into existing packaging solutions

Our feeding systems are designed for direct connection to semi-automatic and fully automatic packaging machines. Thanks to the standardized interface communication, e.g. with Autobag systems enables smooth transitions between feeding, packaging, labeling and shipping. In this way, we ensure a continuous process without media disruptions.

Packaging - As much as necessary,
as little as possible

BVS uses the NaturePak label for products that enable ecologically sound use, reduce CO2 emissions and generate less waste, regardless of the packaging material used.

Our strategy

  • Less packaging means less waste
  • Better protection through high quality
  • Packaging materials made from recycled raw materials or equivalent proportions
  • Economical packaging systems reduce material and energy consumption
  • Ecological customer solutions regardless of material
  • Objective information about different packaging materials

Packaging made from recycled paper

Paper pays off for people and the environment in the long term. It is even better to use paper with a high recycled content. Recycled paper optimizes water and energy consumption and thus protects the environment and climate by reducing waste. Recycled paper offers a wide range of added value for all users.

  • Protects the environment and reduces CO2 emissions
  • Saves energy and water
  • Less waste through optimal recycling

Plastic packaging with recycled content

Polyethylene films are increasingly being produced with a proportion of recycled material, which - as far as technically possible - is being continuously increased. They are the most modern and safest quality packaging for all branches of industry. Due to their low density and excellent physical and mechanical properties, PE films have major advantages over paper, cardboard, metal and glass.

  • Protects the environment and reduces CO2 emissions
  • Can be recycled again and again
  • Is a lightweight material with a high protective effect
  • Significantly reduces food waste when used in the food industry
  • Generates much less waste than glass, metal or paper
