What is a machine stretch film?

This is specially developed packaging film for use in automatic or semi-automatic packaging machines. Pallet wrapping machines. It is usually made of high-quality polyethylene (LLDPE) and is ideal for stabilizing large quantities of goods for safe transport. The film is wrapped around pallets by machine and reliably protects them from slipping, moisture, dirt and mechanical stress.

How do machine stretch films work?

During the wrapping process, the stretch film stretches in a controlled manner before being tightly wrapped around the goods. This stretchability reduces material consumption and ensures a high level of load securing. Modern machine stretch films offer an optimum ratio of tear resistance to stretch. This means that even light or unstable products can be securely packaged without being damaged or pressed too tightly.
