What is a vacuum tube lifter?

A vacuum tube lifter is a lifting tool that uses negative pressure to lift and move heavy or delicate objects. By creating a vacuum between the gripping attachment and the object to be lifted, a strong adhesive force is built up which enables safe lifting. The air is extracted via a pipe or hose system, creating the necessary vacuum.

How does a vacuum lifting device work?

  • Vacuum generation: A vacuum pump or ejector sucks the air out of the system, creating a vacuum.
  • Suction: The vacuum causes the suction pad to adhere firmly to the object.
  • Lifting: The flexible vacuum hose contracts during lifting and thus takes on the load.
  • Moving and depositing: The lifting device allows the load to be moved ergonomically and set down safely at a new location.

Supplementary details:
Modern vacuum tube lifters are often equipped with spring-loaded mechanisms. These make lifting easier and ensure that the load is picked up gently. They can also be equipped with quick-release couplings for easy assembly and disassembly of the hose.

Plastic packaging with recycled content
