The SKA skin machine firmly bonds products to a skin carton. Thanks to the vacuum effect, the product adheres to the carton and clings to it tightly, perfectly reproducing the product contours. The skin process effectively protects the product from dust and moisture, presents it optimally and allows the customer to get an idea of the product at the point of sale and check it for completeness. The heating screen is pulled over the skin film stretched on the work table. The skin film is heated until it is plastic and skinable. Once the correct temperature has been reached, the heater is pushed backwards and the film stretching frame is lowered onto the fabric. The built-in vacuum pump evacuates the air so that the skin film wraps around the product like a second skin. The vacuum time is infinitely adjustable in order to optimally skin packs of different heights. The stenter frame is then opened and the finished skin pack is removed. The pack that has just been skinned is manually separated from the film web and can be cut to size using the optional hand scissors. Depending on the size of your products, several packs can be produced in one operation.

Paper pays off for people and the environment in the long term. It is even better to use paper with a high recycled content. Recycled paper optimizes water and energy consumption and thus protects the environment and climate by reducing waste. Recycled paper offers a wide range of added value for all users.
Plastic packaging with recycled content
Polyethylene films are increasingly being produced with a proportion of recycled material, which - as far as technically possible - is being continuously increased. They are the most modern and safest quality packaging for all branches of industry. Due to their low density and excellent physical and mechanical properties, PE films have major advantages over paper, cardboard, metal and glass.
