RapidStrap is a mobile, highly efficient device for strapping pallet loads quickly and without strapping your back. The strapping band is guided around the pallet load by the electrically driven ChainLance, eliminating the need to bend down during the strapping process.
The manual strapping of pallets is one of the work processes in which employees often work in a stooped position. For each strapping band, you have to bend down twice and walk around the pallet once. If two straps are used correctly, this number increases to four bending movements and two walks around the pallet. With a daily output of 50 pallets, these activities add up to 200 bending and 100 circling operations. Calculated over a week, this results in a total of 1000 bending movements.
