Anti-fatigue mat

Anti-fatigue mats for ergonomic standing workstations and better foot support

Our high-quality anti-fatigue mats are the perfect solution for healthy and ergonomic working while standing. As standing, ergonomic or relief mats, they effectively reduce muscle fatigue and joint strain during long periods of standing. The durable mats promote blood circulation, improve posture and increase comfort at industrial, production and packaging workstations as well as in logistics. Their non-slip surface provides additional safety and prevents slips and falls. They are ideal as floor mats for standing workstations, are easy to clean and can be seamlessly integrated into your workplace design. This allows you to sustainably increase the productivity and well-being of your employees.

What is a workplace mat?

A workstation mat, also known as an anti-fatigue mat, standing mat or floor mat, is a special mat for standing workstations. It reduces the strain on joints and muscles and thus prevents fatigue. It is usually made of rubber or other elastic materials that are easy on the joints.

Functionality and advantages

  • Reduction of fatigue: Workstation mats cushion the hard floor and take the strain off joints and muscles, making standing for long periods less tiring.
  • Stimulates blood circulation: The gentle movement on the mat stimulates blood circulation and thus contributes to healthy legs.
  • Prevention of accidents: Many mats have anti-slip surfaces that prevent slipping on wet or oily floors.
  • Increased productivity: less fatigue and greater comfort enable employees to stay focused and productive for longer.
  • Depending on the model, they are also resistant to oil, dirt or chemicals. This means they not only offer ergonomic benefits, but also a high level of occupational safety - even under demanding conditions.

Areas of application

Workplace mats are used in different environments, for example:

  • Packing and dispatch rooms
  • Picking areas
  • Packaging stations
  • Logistics departments
  • Workshops and factories
  • Production facilities
  • Laboratories
  • Sales counters
  • Offices with standing workstations

Materials and properties

  • Rubber: Rubber mats are very popular because the material is elastic, robust and durable.
  • There are open and closed structures. Open structures allow liquids to drain away, while closed structures are particularly resistant and easy to clean.
  • Anti-slip properties: The surface texture ensures a secure footing at the workplace.
  • A variety of sizes and shapes: Workplace mats are available in different sizes and shapes to meet individual requirements.

The modular workplace mats can be individually adapted to the conditions on site - regardless of whether it is a single workstation or continuous walkways. Thanks to various sizes, cuts and designs (e.g. with ESD protection or drainage function), you will find the right solution for almost any area of application.

Packaging - As much as necessary,
as little as possible

BVS uses the NaturePak label for products that enable ecologically sound use, reduce CO2 emissions and generate less waste, regardless of the packaging material used.

Our strategy

  • Less packaging means less waste
  • Better protection through high quality
  • Packaging materials made from recycled raw materials or equivalent proportions
  • Economical packaging systems reduce material and energy consumption
  • Ecological customer solutions regardless of material
  • Objective information about different packaging materials

Packaging made from recycled paper

Paper pays off for people and the environment in the long term. It is even better to use paper with a high recycled content. Recycled paper optimizes water and energy consumption and thus protects the environment and climate by reducing waste. Recycled paper offers a wide range of added value for all users.

  • Protects the environment and reduces CO2 emissions
  • Saves energy and water
  • Less waste through optimal recycling

Plastic packaging with recycled content

Polyethylene films are increasingly being produced with a proportion of recycled material, which - as far as technically possible - is being continuously increased. They are the most modern and safest quality packaging for all branches of industry. Due to their low density and excellent physical and mechanical properties, PE films have major advantages over paper, cardboard, metal and glass.

  • Protects the environment and reduces CO2 emissions
  • Can be recycled again and again
  • Is a lightweight material with a high protective effect
  • Significantly reduces food waste when used in the food industry
  • Generates much less waste than glass, metal or paper
