The MBS Logistik GmbH is a specialized service provider for fulfillment and contract logistics with a focus on tailor-made and scalable solutions. With over 25,000 m² of warehouse space, the company offers comprehensive services from goods receipt, storage and order picking to shipping - including same-day delivery and individual value-added services. With a specially developed WMS, automated processes and its own fleet of trucks, MBS Logistik ensures smooth processes and reliable deliveries. Over 4.6 million parcels shipped in 2024 are proof of the high level of expertise in e-commerce logistics.
MBS Logistik handled its shipping processes completely manually until the start of the project. With 22 packing tables and around 200 employees, around 22,000 parcels were packed and dispatched manually every day. In view of increasing order volumes, this solution was increasingly reaching its limits - both in terms of efficiency and scalability. The project objective was clearly defined: a scalable, largely automated shipping solution with a daily output of up to 50,000 parcels. At the same time, the manual workload was to be drastically reduced, the error rate minimized and personnel capacities optimized.
