They are ideal for industry, retail and logistics and support your packaging processes with easy handling and quick deployment. Choose our paper-based padding and reduce plastic waste without compromising on safety!

What is a paper padding machine?

A paper cushioning machine is a device that converts paper into cushioning material for packaging. It can be used to fill cavities in shipping cartons and protect products during transportation. The paper is crumpled, folded or shaped so that it is suitable as padding for filling, securing or wrapping goods.

Functionality

Paper padding machines process paper rolls into protective padding. Depending on the machine type, the paper can be folded, crumpled or processed into a net to serve as an effective packaging insert.

Use

The cushions produced protect goods during shipping and are particularly suitable for fragile or sensitive products. At the same time, other goods that need to be protected during transportation can also be reliably secured.

Advantages

  • Sustainability: The machines use recyclable paper and therefore help to reduce waste.
  • Flexibility: Different shapes and sizes of padding material allow adaptation to different packaging requirements.
  • Efficiency: the cushioning material can be produced on demand, saving storage costs and speeding up the packaging process.
  • Cost-efficiency: The on-demand production reduces material waste, allowing companies to save money.

Types of paper cushioning machines

There are different types of machines that can be used depending on requirements: from simple manual devices to fully automatic systems with different functions.

Areas of application

Paper padding machines are used in numerous industries, including e-commerce, warehousing, production and logistics.

Packaging - As much as necessary,
as little as possible

BVS uses the NaturePak label for products that enable ecologically sound use, reduce CO2 emissions and generate less waste, regardless of the packaging material used.

Our strategy

  • Less packaging means less waste
  • Better protection through high quality
  • Packaging materials made from recycled raw materials or equivalent proportions
  • Economical packaging systems reduce material and energy consumption
  • Ecological customer solutions regardless of material
  • Objective information about different packaging materials

Packaging made from recycled paper

Paper pays off for people and the environment in the long term. It is even better to use paper with a high recycled content. Recycled paper optimizes water and energy consumption and thus protects the environment and climate by reducing waste. Recycled paper offers a wide range of added value for all users.

  • Protects the environment and reduces CO2 emissions
  • Saves energy and water
  • Less waste through optimal recycling

Plastic packaging with recycled content

Polyethylene films are increasingly being produced with a proportion of recycled material, which - as far as technically possible - is being continuously increased. They are the most modern and safest quality packaging for all branches of industry. Due to their low density and excellent physical and mechanical properties, PE films have major advantages over paper, cardboard, metal and glass.

  • Protects the environment and reduces CO2 emissions
  • Can be recycled again and again
  • Is a lightweight material with a high protective effect
  • Significantly reduces food waste when used in the food industry
  • Generates much less waste than glass, metal or paper
